Police say alcohol a factor in deadly car vs. truck crash

The Virginia State Police say that the 21-year-old driver of a car recently involved in an accident got behind the wheel of the car after drinking. Making matters worse is the fact that six people -- including the driver -- suffered injuries in the car vs. truck crash, and two of those six died as a result. The only person not injured was the driver of the truck.

3 dead, 1 injured in crash on I-81 in Virginia

When Virginia State Police arrived at the scene of a crash in Interstate 81 recently, they found a vehicle smashed into the back of a tractor-trailer. Four people were in the car at the time of the crash, and only one of them survived. The driver of the truck was not injured and remained at the scene to assist authorities in their investigation.

Virginia State Police search for cause of deadly car accident

Virginia State Police are searching for answers regarding a recent accident on Route 460. The car accident occurred between 11:30 p.m. and 12 a.m. When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle that had flipped over and four people on the ground.
