Motorcycle accidents raise unique issues for Virginia riders

Many Virginia motorcycle enthusiasts may agree that riding a motorcycle is equal parts freedom and danger. The danger largely comes from the fact that riders are nowhere near as protected as drivers of passenger and commercial vehicles. This raises some unique issues when it comes to motorcycle accidents.

Virginia traffic stop gone bad leads to car accident

On a recent Saturday afternoon, a trooper with the Virginia State Police pulled over a car on the eastbound side of Interstate 66. Some Thoughts on Auto Insurance in Virginia

Our firm frequently represents people injured in motor vehicle collisions.  Many times, the party causing the collision has inadequate insurance to cover the damages our client has suffered. Virginia law only requires that an automobile have minimum liability insurance coverage of $25,000 per person and $50,000 per accident.  Those figures have not changed in over 30 years.  We feel those amounts were inadequate 30 years ago, and are certainly out of date today.
